Cautionary bulletins regarding medical and health conditions such as cardiac arrest or seizures seem to be coming to light all over worldwide television these days. TV and radio advertisements show us what to do if we experience light headedness, passing out, tingling sensations, and so forth. However, hardly ever will we witness an advertisement detailing common anxiety symptoms, which is rather worthless considering many us go through them and are extremely confused by these symptoms.
Going through anxiety symptoms is exceptionally common in our western culture, since we exposed to high pressure circumstances on a persistent basis. Whether it is the fear that we may be astray in an uncharted town or we’re going to be late for a critical appointment or when the phone rings unexpectedly, we all feel anxiety at some point in our life. Lots of us however may face anxiety symptoms for what appears to be no reason at all, and can misconstrue them with the symptoms of getting a seizure or some alternate medical condition. People who suffer from anxiety attacks sometimes confuse these symptoms.
Anxiety symptoms are obviously different for everyone, and usually it’s apparent that they’re just feeling anxiety – just before speaking in public, when you’re about to get married, when you open your front door and see a couple of thugs standing there; these circumstances could easily make anyone tense and panic ridden! However for many of us, anxiety symptoms could also include shallow breathing, heart palpitations, vommiting, chest pains, constricted breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes. Stomach aches, and headaches are not unheard of either. You can appreciate how this could easily be misdiagnosed as a heart attack or asthma or any number of other conditions.
If you exeprience these anxiety symptoms on a regular basis, and especially if they seem to show up for no reason, you should probably visit your doctor. At the outset, you might want to rule out the chances of it being a cardiac arrest or something that dangerous. Then, he or she can prescribe drugs or therapy that could help you live with the anxiety symptoms while at the same time working with you to figure out why you are stressed and anxious to begin with. You may have some chemical abnormalities in the brain or could need to practice a number of new positive techniques on how to mentally process stressful situations so that you will be able to minimize the flaring up of a panic attack before it gets too severe.
I managed to overcome my panic disorder after a lot of struggling and dragging my family through the terror with me. The solution I used was entirely natural, medication-free and did not require expensive counseling – I’m happy to say that I’ve been free of anxiety for a number of years now, I only wish I had used it years earlier.
